Born in Rimini in 1959, Roberto Semprini studied architecture in Florence. In 1987 he joined the Bolidismo Movement which expresses design in a futuristic way.
To Milan, he work as a freelance journalist for several design magazines. In 1989 he designed the sofa “Tatlin” which was produced by Edra, winner of the prestigious TOP TEN in Dusseldorf. In 1994 he designed the table “Manta” produced by Fiam, it was winner of the Young & Design awards. His products are part of the permanent collection of the Montreal Museum of Decorative Arts in Canada and the New Museum of Design in London.
In 2000 to Rimini he opened “RM 12 Art & Design”, a gallery and studio. Realise high-impact projects and he collaborate with numerous design firms. He give seminars in faculties of design national and international. Professor to Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera (Milan) and Professor for Chiara Fama of Outdoor Design course at the Politecnico di Milano.
