Jacob Sam

The Sam Jacob Studio’s work explores the relationship between architecture and the world around us, developing new relationships between contemporary approaches, history and culture.

The studio is led by Sam Jacob whose work has been published and exhibited internationally including at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2016 and 2014 (where he was co-curator of the British Pavilion), Spaces Without Drama at the Graham Foundation (2017), Chicago, A Very Small Part of Architecture in Highgate Cemetery (2016), and a forthcoming project for the 2017 Chicago Biennial. Jacob is Professor of Architecture at UIC, Chicago and Visiting Professor at Yale School of Architecture.

He is columnist and critic for Dezeen and Art Review as well as Contributing Editor for Icon magazine.
